I am exhausted. I think it's related to hunger since I also have a splitting headache. I'm still at my parents house but trying to stay only a day or so more so I don't want to go out and a buy a whole bunch of food and then lug it back to my apartment...and I'm trying to resist eating fast food which is the quickest option right now...I dunno. Ugh. It all sounds so silly. I know. Just go eat something Keisha. But it's not that easy. Grrrrr.
I have a ton of errands to run- little things I want to pick up before I leave so I'm trying to grab food while I'm out....but I have some things going on here at the house (studying, laundry, rounding up things to take back to the apartment....) that need to be finished before I head out the door...soooooo....hungry it is I guess.
Oh and in other news: the other day there was a big black spider on my dining room ceiling. Yes, I sat there and watched him and damn near had a nervous breakdown with my arachnophobia...Well I barricaded myself in my bedroom so he wouldn't get me. This lasted several hours until my mom assured me he had gone out the door. Well today when I was walking up the steps from the laundry I noticed something- big black spider. Yep. He's baaaaaaaack. I'm officially ticked off for the day.

SPIDERS!!!
Soooooooo. There are spiders. All over my balcony thing. Yes, all over. Earlier I was sweeping off the deck (lots of straw, birds coming for it, ya know) and I noticed a couple of spiders. Well I thought they were dead but I sprayed them anyway. Neither one moved. Okay, great. I'll just knock ya'll down with a broom. Next time I looked one was gone. Shoot. You were alive. But at least you're not on my balcony now. Don't come back now ya hear!!! Later I went out on the balcony for whatever reason. I really don't recall but that's not important. I did, however, notice two spiders. I'm guessing the original mover and a newbie. I'll get you. If it's the last thing I do...I'll get you both. AND make your families scared to come around here.
I figured it would be a good time to venture to Walmart...make an exchange, grab some things: bug spray, sandpaper and wood stain for my next project, table for the balcony so I can start sitting outside and working on my homework....ya know good things.
So I came home, got dress (fully covered including a plastic bag on my head...those buggers will NOT get on me) and went out to spray. I successfully got one to stop moving and went inside to catch my breath. Went around to get the second one and noticed a third one that was MUCH HUGER than the other two.
Needless to say- I QUIT. I will tackle that balcony tomorrow before the spiders wake up. I will probably go through a big bottle of Ortho Home Defense Max and a couple cans of Raid but that balcony will be SPIDER PROOF.
We discussed calling an exterminator...but do they do outsides? And I'm not about to pay somebody for what I can do myself. Especially not what they will charge and no guarantee. Pass.
I really think I am going to seek out counseling for my spider phobia.
I don't understand it.
Really.
Like in my mind I understand that I am SO much bigger than the spider and I could easily destroy it.
And I hear the "That spider is more afraid of you"---but if he is more afraid of me why isn't he running away from me?
Maybe it's all of the legs.
Maybe it's the way they move. The way it seems as if they are stretching or grasping.
I don't know. But I'm terrified of spiders when it comes to them even though I know the reality.
I wonder exactly what caused this often.
Oh well. I hope those spiders got their warning today. Tomorrow will be their last day on this planet.
